Chapter 15.
ReplyDelete1. The day of First Meat was when Brian finally caught a foolbird (a.k.a. ruffled grouse).
2.Brian couldn't catch a foolbird because it was very camouflaged.
3.The flies couldn't get in because the smoke stopped them.
4.He put the insides in the water.
Chapter 16.
1.First Arrow Day, First Rabbit Day.
2. The moose attacked Brian and almost killed him.
3. He needed to play dead.
4. Brian felt that he was back to square one because he had lost everything.
5. The plane was sticking out of the water.
Chapter 17
1. Because he had lost all his stuff and it would make him "rich" and he could get matches, knives, and maybe a sleeping bag.
2. A fishboard is a piece of wood that he flattened with the hatchet that held the fish so that he didn't have to hold a stick all the time.
3. It was difficult for Brian to make the raft because he had no rope.
4.He needed logs with limbs so that he could "weave" them together.
5.He couldn't get into the plane.

3. He had to dive into the water until the moose was gone and then very quietly crawl back to his shelter because the moose would attack him if he walked to his shelter
4. He felt like he was back at square one because all of his tools were gone (not his hatchet. That was still on his belt) and his shelter was almost all the way ruined

1. He ripped the metal away using his hatchet, then crawled inside
2. He had to dive into the water to get his hatchet because he accidentally dropped it in the water when he was working
3. He was staying under the water for so long that whenever he came up out of the water his lungs would pop like a balloon

2) He was looking for their colors, not the outline of their body.

2.Brian had to dive down to get his hatchet, which he had dropped.
3.Brian saw the pilot and he was horrified and got sick.
4.It took him about the whole day.

1.He felt that the items in the survival pack were "unbelievable riches".
2.Some of the things, like the rifle, changed him so that (in his own words) "It removed him from everything around him."
3.Because he hadn't had regular food in a really long time.

3.Brian got sick when he was underwater because he saw the pilots head picked clean.
4.It took Brian all day to get the survival pack and get back to his shelter.
Chapter 19.
1.As Brian went through the contents of the survival pack he felt rich.
2.The contents of the survival pack changed Brian by making him no longer feel part of nature.
3.When Brian went through the dehydrated food packages decided to feast now and be careful later because he was hungry.
4.While Brian was eating he saw a plane appear in the sky.
5.The first thing thing that Brian said, "my name is Brian Robeson, would you like something to eat."
